At work…
My purpose and passion at work is to help clients:
- simplify their finances
- have the right money in the right place at the right time
- live the life they wish to lead
Ian started work in the financial services profession in 1995. Since 2010 he’s been focused on providing Lifetime Financial Planning services for his clients. This entails delivering a more meaningful service than what he refers to as the traditional ‘3 Ps’ – platform, products and portfolios. Increasingly frustrated with the vested interests of the Financial Services Industry, his focus via Green Lifetime Financial Planning is on helping clients discover ‘How much is enough?’ so they can live the life they wish to lead now and for the rest of their lives.
When not working…
Outside of the office… Being a dad to teenage daughter Mia and my adult son Max and husband to Melissa. Playing more tennis than squash these days, keeping fit and weight training, video games every now and then, Depeche Mode (& 80s electronica in general!), cycling to Windsor or Box Hill and back when weather permits, and walking around Richmond Park. Yoga, black & white photos, city breaks, art & history, looking out for the results of Dagenham & Redbridge FC, getting back to nature at regular intervals whether the ocean or the desert, Sherlock Holmes, horology (every watch has a story!), behavioural psychology, the little differences that make big differences and many, many, more…
